QIGONG - pronounced chee kung, is an ancient Chinese system of gentle exercise that encourages a healthy flow of energy around the body, nourishing the internal organs and promoting wellbeing, relaxation and serenity. Consisting of both single exercises and longer routines, it promotes general health and wellbeing, energy levels, suppleness, co-ordination, balance and confidence and alleviates many of the minor ailments prevalent in this modern age. Qigong can be learned and practiced by men and women of all ages.
